TJ, the Convenor of the fondly remembered 11th All-Asians Intervarsity Debating Championships, is back with his original team to redefine excellence in the 28th World Universities Debating Championships. He is a Graduate of Assumption University with a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration, majoring in Marketing and is now pursuing his Master Degree in International Relations.
Having been active in the Speaking Club since high school, TJ was one of the founding members and Prime Minister of Assumption International English Debating Society (AI) in 2003. As a breaking debater in international tournaments, such as12th All-Asians (Malaysia) and SMU Hammers (Singapore), a Grand Finalist in national competitions, including two EU-Thailand National Debating Championships and Thailand Environmental Debating Championships, a breaking adjudicator in Austral-Asians Intervarsity Debating Championships, and a recipient of numerous best speaker awards, he is recognized as one of the most active and dedicated debaters in Thailand.
In terms of organizing experiences, he served as the head organizer of the Asian Pacific Student Services Association Conference (2005), founder of the Asia-Pacific Student Entrepreneurship Society (2004), key organizer of the Asian Youth Forum (2003-2004), and the 1st Vice President of Assumption University Student Organization, just to add a few to the 11th All-Asians. His distinctive accomplishments won him the Outstanding Youth Award of Thailand, bestowed on him by the National Council on Social Welfare of Thailand under the Royal Patronage. |
